Tuesday has arrived.......urgh

So it is 855 am and I have been at work for almost an hour already. I decided that since I have a short week anyways that I would come to work 8-5 Tuesday and Wednesday. So here I am. The weekend was crazy and glad it's over. Saturday I was at the shop from 8-530 then Sunday I went to Greensburg with Denise to a big craft show. We left at 7am and got home at 7pm. I sold enough stuff to pay for my table and thats about it. I got some serious Christmas shopping done though. Then on the way home we decided to go Dumpster Diving. We scored 5 bags of big ass chunks of foam from Linens and Things, 5 promo video game posters from a game store, 50 halloween cards from Hallmark, and the best for last... 5 large glass canisters with lids (like the old candy stores have) from Big Lots! We were not prepared in the least for diving but did what we could, and had fun doing it. So did some more shopping yesterday and got some redding up at the house done also. Brandon is coming home tonight from his Bear trip. No one at the camp even saw one , I actually dont think that they went out though. So Im going to pull out the old knitting now and occupy myself until some old fart comes for a haircut.

You can call me Madam

So Tuesday (yes I know it is Saturday) was elections at the firehall and I have loved keeping everyone (Rhonda) in suspense. Well votes counted, no chads I was elected President! According to the rules of ethics my minions are to call me Madam President. I think thats a little extreme so I'm just going with Madam. So first thing on my agenda??? I have no freakin clue. So I am eating my breakfast at work and hoping to get some shit cleaned up since we got Open House this afternoon (yippee, oh that was sarcasm). Then home to spend time with my boys and get the jewels ready for tomorrow. So I will try to post tomorrow evening and hopefully tell you of all thye money I have made, so until then GO PENGUINS!!!

whats on for today??

So it has been a week since I last posted and I sincerely apologize for it. Last week seemed to go very fast and I'm glad that it is over. I now sit in my comfy "ladies chair" at work and reflect on the past few days.
Anything exciting happen???
no.
I like to think my life is soooo hectic and exciting that everyone would be envious but when it really comes down to it it's pretty damned boring. Saturday was actually pretty exciting, I worked till 1130 (which is unheard of) then scooted down to Natrona Heights and got to watch my husband get his 3/4 sleeve tattoo worked on. Don't ask me for photos yet because he dosen't want anyone to see till it's all done. I love tattooing !! (in case you didnt' know I have 5 tattoos) I just love the sound and the artistic flow that goes on there.I would LOVE to work at one sometime in my life, even if it's just answering the phones.
So then after that we headed to the firehall for the Firehouse Comedy Tour. there were 2 comedians the 2nd which was HILARIOUS! I actually was afraid to drink my beer in fear that it would spew out of my nose or mouth. Then Sunday Denise and I did a craft show out in Kittanning Twp. Didnt sell much ( not that I ever do) but we had fun and it was a day out of the house. Now things are a little less crazy. Tonight I have ladies auxiliary meeting at the firehall and it is elections!! I am up for President. Brandon asked me last night "Why do you want to be president?" I said , "Hell I pretty much do everything there anyhow how much work can it be.
So I will post later tonight wether or not I get it. I only have 1 other person to really run against me and I dont think that many people like her, there is another woman running but considering that she never shows up for anything I know no one will vote for her. I am a natural born leader and think I could seriously kick some ass as President.
Ok Im off the soap box now. So Im going to get the shop cleaned up and hopefully get home before my husband leaves for the hockey game tonight.(boo)

Just another day in Ford CLiff

So it is Tuesday night and Im at the neighbors watching the Pens game. We are losing 3-1 against the Red Wings. suckage. So things are rolling in my crazy life. there are at least 2-3 things on the weekend that I need to attend too. OOH now its 2-3. I had a good weekend, Saturday morning I woke up at 430 am and went to the firehall to cook breakfast. I think we had around 200 or so people. There is an 11 year old girl in Ford Cliff that is waiting on a heart transplant and we decided to host a breakfast with all the profits going to her and her family. I think we made around $1000.00 !! The rest of the day I just freaking chilled out, and was in bed by 9pm. Went to church and sang Sunday morning and went to Shadyside with my cracker-ass friend Rhonda!! That pretty much wrapped up my weekend and Monday was a waste of time and effort so I'm not even going to talk about it. So off to attend to the hockey game and maybe do some christmas shopping.

Crap.

So it is now November 5th and as everyone knows the elections were yesterday. I (of course) have to go against the grain. I voted for Ralph Nadar. I know your probably thinking that I am crazy and wasted my vote, but I was not comfortable with either candidate. Now I am watching the morning news and wondering what the hell is going to happen to the world, I can't help but notice that all of the southern states seem to have gone with McCain. Coincidence??? I think not. I dont think that I am racist in any way but you have to wonder...I have said for a long time now that the black voters are going to come out of the woodwork and vote for Obama just because he is a black man. WHEW... SO off of that nothing much else is going on. I did pretty good at the craft show on Sunday and dont' have another one until the beginning on December so that will give me some time to get some more stuff done for Christmas. Well going to eat my pop tart and straighten up the living room and get ready for work. So I am quite thankful that the elections are over and I dont' have to listen to all the crap anymore.
