So i guess it's been a while since I've posted but I really do have a good reason . Not that I need to tell you what that is though. Things have been crazy crazy in the Cliff. I am back in the saddle, vacation is over and I shall be better than ever. I have decided to take on some extra work this holiday season and help out BFF Rhonda at her nail salon while one of her girls is out of town for a bit. If you need a mani, pedi, glitter toes or party nails I am your girl!! Well I am signing off for now but guarantee that I will be back later!

List of 5..

So Rhonda opened the box of the "Free Card". I can list my husbands #1 immediately who is Angelina Jolie. (last I checked) I will think about this for a few minutes and post my listing, I already know who my #1 is but never really thought about my 2,3,4&5. Let me ponder......

SO .I've come to realize that I can only come up with 3 men. So here they are, I am including pictures so that you can bask in the hotness.

It is my "Black Man" Georges Laraque. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, and I just think that he's HOT!

Jason Statham. You may or may not know him. He is the star of "The Transporter" I,II,and III.

He is just hotness with an accent.

And with no further-a-do....

Mr. Vin Diesel. All the hotness of an action movie, but yet has done a movie where he is a male nanny. God Bless his abs!

And.... Yes !!!!

So I just realized this evening that I haven't posted in about 2 weeks. And I notice that I was upset that I didn't see my "blackman" at the hockey game when we played Montreal last. WELL...... last night Brandon (husband), Brian(bro-in-law), and myself were in tow for last nights game in Pitt against Montreal. And what to my surprise (not really cuz I looked online) did I see when we entered the arena to see practice before the game?????? BLACKMAN!!!!!! Not only was he on the ice. My seat was right beside where his team goes into and comes out on the ice! I did yell at him several times (doubt he heard me). But the topper of the night came when he got into a fight with Eric Goddard. So I am happy to report that Black History Month was well represented in Pittsburgh last night.I shall post pictures later.

So as my last post stated I would let you know if my "Black Man" was playing hockey. Sadly he was not. I am not sure what has happened to him. Unfortunately the Penguins lost to them Tuesday night , but then last night the came back fro being down 3-1 to tie and to win the game in overtime thanks to Geno!!! So hopefully this will give them the kick in the butt that they need to get some more points and get up in the standings. As for today I am eating my lunch and then have a couple of appointments coming in . woopee! . not. Can't wait to get home and watch Ugly Betty and Greys Anatomy tonight!!! For being like -50* out there sure is alot of people out. I think the sunshine is fooling them into thinking it's warmer out. silly old farts. STAY HOME. word to your mother.

Yes I know I am the Anti-Christ

So can I just say how glad I am that the Super Bowl is over. Sure I'm glad the Steelers won, but Im so sick of hearing about it. Did I watch any of it? Lets just say that I was in the same room as the game wa on, but don't actually remember seeing any of it. So does that make me that Anti-Christ? possibly but don't fear... It's a hockey night!! I am quite excited that we play the Montreal Candadiens who as some of you might know is where Georges Laraque plays for. So for my sake lets hope that there's a black man in the game!! So thats all for the day. I shall post later and let you know if Georges plays or not.

Things people should know.

So I decided Sunday morning that we had no food in our house and I needed to go shopping. As I was at the Pittsburgh Mills I decided that I was hungry and would go to Eat n Park to have lunch. Well ... whoever said there was a recession going on obviously didn't tell these people. I (by myself) had to wait for 15 minutes to get a table.! When I was seated I proceeded to pull out my new "Happy Hookers" book. Despite what you might think it is actually a crochet book. While I did buy it partly for the name itself, it does have some good patterns in it. (Back to story) I was greeted by my WAY to happy waitress. Now I'm not saying that being happy is a bad thing but there are limits. When you look like the characters in the "Black Hole Sun" video then you have a problem.
So I place my order and am rudely interrupted by a 2-3 year old girl screaming at the top of her lungs. The mother was holding her and not doing anything to try to quiet her. Yes as you can tell I don't have children but I like to think that I am a half-mother to my nephew. Now in my countless Monday's with Dawson I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with him in public. Do parents really think that kids want to be everywhere that they are all the time? In my time with Dawson I've quickly realized that distractions are KEY. I see endless parents with nothing to keep a childs attention. For God's sake even a pen and the back of a menu will suffice. Please for the sake of everyone that dosent' have a kid , bring something to keep your kid entertained. Even if it's a video game, if it keeps that damn kid quiet I don't care. So once the little girls brother and dad returned from the bathroom she seemed to quiet down a little. But they have a couch and coffee table in the area that I happened to be sitting in . So the parents let the kids crawl all over this table. I mean literally the boy was on top jumping while the girl was crawling through the bottom section, while proceeding to get stuck and screaming again. Thankfully they were seated promptly and someone else had to deal with them.
So just getting back into my book my food arrives as well as 2 ladies move into the table beside me. Obviously a mother and daughter (mother 70's and daughter 40's). I had to laugh thinking this was Dorothy and Sophia from Golden Girls as the daughter told her mother to get her head out of her ass or she was going to the home. Well now we have some entertainment. So my salad looks delicious and the waitress approaches S & D (Sophia and Dorothy) and asks for their order. D loudly asks "What's that she has there" pointing at my salad. I hate it when people do that!!! The waitress tells her what it is and she yells at me "Is that any good?" What the hell does she expect me to say, "no it tastes like shit but I'm eating it anyway" .? REally?
So D ends up ordering the same exact thing as me, then her mother opens her mouth. Now by this time of the day it is at least 1pm. I think everywhere should abide by McDonalds rules and stop serving breakfast at 1030. If you can't get up and get breakfast by then your just too lazy and should be punished by having to eat pizza cold.
So "S" orders a breakfast platter with eggs which have to be cooked to her spec's or it WILL be sent back. So while I've never really waitressed I hate this shit. People have taken being a P.I.T.A. to a whole new level. So the waitress brings their food and "S" is inspecting the eggs like nobody's business, and says to "D" "I don't think they're done enough". To which I envision "Shady Pines Ma!" lol. The daughter says "Shut up and eat the eggs mom" to which she does. The "D" yells over to me "Im glad you convinced me to get this salad it is really good". Well I don't recall actually having a conversation with this woman , but whatever helps you sleep at night.
So Please next time you go to eat:
Don't ask people what they're eating
Don't let your children climb over anything the can
Bring something for your child to do
If you kid acts up have either you or your spouse take them outside or to the car until they settle. I'm sure you get used to hearing your child yell at home all the time , but remember you are in public and I can guarantee no one else wants to hear it.
This concludes todays Public Service Announcement.

Sunday Sunday Sunday

So it is finally Sunday and I am chilling out already. I had a busy weekend. Friday night Sissy, Bex , and I went to Pitt to see Lisa Lampanelli down at the Byham. Weather aside we had a very good time. We went to dinner at Rolands in the strip then headed down to the show, but not before going to the Rennaisance hotel for a pre-show drink. Then Saturday morning I went to work (not sure why) then the parents and I went to Pitt (again) to see Jersey Boys. WOW. can I just say it was a freakin awesome show. They said the "F" work a few times, but all in all the music and story were great. I thought I was going to have a problem with the woman behind me, during the first song she started singing, and I was all like "oh no she isn't" but she stopped. Then we headed home and I was in my pj's in record time. I included some pics on my facebook if anyone gets on there. So I am quite content with staying home and chilling out for the day with my boys.
